How to do professional makeup to look younger

STEP 4: APPLY FOUNDATION

Make sure that you choose a foundation that works with your skin type and matches your coloring. Liquid foundation is a fine choice for many types of skin.  If you have oily skin, you may use powder foundation. Make sure that before you buy foundation in the shop that you test it that it matches your face by putting a little on the back of your hand.

  • Apply the foundation using a foundation brush, pad or your finger.
  • Avoid putting extra layers of foundation over blemishes. It'll only make them stand out more.
  • Blend the foundation around the edges of your face and where it meets the bottom of your chin.

STEP 5: APPLY CONCEALER

Make sure that you choose a concealer that matches your skin color, if you have dark under-eye circles, apply the concealer lighter over the dark under-eye circles. Apply the concealer using either a concealer brush or your finger by rubbing it under your eyes and gently blending it in. This will make your eyes look bright.

  • Use a little extra concealer on blemishes/black spots.

STEP 6: APPLY POWDER

Make sure that you choose a powder that matches your skin color. Use a powder brush to apply the powder to your face in a circular motion. This will give your face a natural-looking finish and help set your foundation so that it stays in place all day.

You can also apply bronzer and highlighter to your face. Bronzer helps create flattering shadows while highlighter brightens.

STEP 7: APPLY BLUSH.

I personally recommend a pink blush that will bring out the best in your facial coloring. Use a blush brush to apply it to the apples of your cheeks in a circular motion.

STEP 8: APPLY EYE SHADOW.

I suggest that you choose a neutral shadow pallet for a simple look. Brown, gold, grey, and blue colors are all good choices. Avoid bright colors. Use your finger or an eye shadow brush to apply it on your lid and all the way up to your eyebrow.

STEP 9: APPLY EYELINER.

I recommend you to choose Black, charcoal, navy, or brown eyeliner Apply it just above your eyelashes, taking care to make sure it goes on smooth and straight. Use your eye shadow brush to blend it.You can use a pencil liner or a liquid liner.

I advise that you don't use liner on your lower lids if you choose to use then Using the black eyeliner on top and bottom lids looks a little bit too harsh. Try a different colors combination like Black at top and brown at lower lids.

WARNINGS: Applying eyeliner to your waterline is not recommended by ophthalmologists. Try to avoid getting makeup in your eye.

STEP 10: APPLY MASCARA.

I suggest that you apply one coat of mascara on both your upper and lower lashes. Insert the brush at the base of your lashes and sweep outward. After you're finished with one eye, dip the brush in the bottle again before applying mascara to the other eye. Either black or brown mascara is fine.

Take note: Start at the base of your upper lashes and slowly sweep upward. For a more dramatic effect, apply mascara to the lower lashes as well. If you want to apply multiple coats, do it while the first coats of mascara are still wet - applying a new coat to dry mascara will result in clumps.

If you don't want to apply mascara, you can use an eyelash curler to curl your lashes for a natural, pretty look.

STEP 11: APPLY LIP COLOR.

Use a pink or neutral-colored lipstick or lip gloss to finish your look. Avoid using heavy lip liner, bright and bold colors. Use tissue on your lips to remove excess lipstick or gloss.

THINGS YOU'LL NEED

TIPS

  • My opinion is that applying natural makeup is healthier for your skin and can reduce blemishes/black spots.
  • Please don't overdo your makeup, remember that makeup is meant to enhance your natural features, not to cover them up.
  • Make sure you apply makeup in a bright, sunny place so you can see all your face clearly.
  • Try to go for a similar color with blush and lipstick. It will bring out your natural features.
  • To make it look as if you have natural eyelashes with mascara, slowly and gently work your way upward.
  • Try to find color that is as close as your skin color.
  • Please the reason to apply makeup is for enhancing your face.
  • Please do not constantly sit down checking your face on a mirror after makeup instead smile, and have lots of confidence for yourself
  • Please try not to touch your face, and keep yourself cool to prevent sweating. Putting on hat to provide some shade is a good idea.
  • Take note that makeup primer is a base for foundation or face makeup that allows it to go on smoother and last longer.
